Techmarkes

techmarkes is a trust blogging site specially developed to share news-related blogs on it.

These days I’ve been writing guest posts like crazy. More than I ever did, actually, in six years of constant blogging. Aside from my commitment to posting regularly on this blog, this is a considerable time investment. So why bother?

I believe that guest posting is the single most important strategy for growing your blog readership and platform. Let me explain…

What is guest posting?

First things first: let’s define our terms. “Guest posting” means writing and publication an object on somebody else’s website or blog.

I offer it on my site (infrequently) and do it on other blogs with spectators I want to talk to. It’s a great way to attach with new booklovers and get your name out here.

But for the lengthiest time, I ignored this necessary punishment to grow a general blog. I wish I hadn’t. And I hope you don’t.

Guest posting builds relationships.

Bloggers need good content. By existence a good guest blogger and charitable value to somebody else’s blog, you are successful to build relations with other bloggers.

Bloggers make up a large part of the chat on the Internet, particularly on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. They can be very powerful. Which brands them good friends?

By making networks with additional bloggers finished guest posting, you’re going to increase your effect in the social media realm, which will eventually lead to more blog subscribers.

Guest posting is great for search engines.

Here are the non-passable you must have for guest posting:

The host blogger should include a link to your blog somewhere in the post (usually at the beginning or end).

Over time, these backlinks will upsurge your blog’s value in search trains, making your content easier to find by Google, Yahoo, Bing, and others.

Guest posting introduces you to new people.

Perhaps, the best part of guest posting is that it allows you to tap into an already established community and share your message. This allows you to connect with new people, who can ultimately benefit you, if you do it right.

If you’re addition value to the conversation, you’ll see that change to more readers, fans, and followers over period. Equally, if all you’re doing is asking or vending, you may become well-known, but with a reputation you don’t want. (You don’t want to be “that guy” vending your own package.)

Add value. Help people. Be patient. And over time, you will win.

What about people who guest post on your site?

I’m also a fan of letting other persons to guest post on my site from time to time. You must also reproduce offering guest posting on your blog (if you don’t before).

If you’re looking for opportunities to guest post on other people’s blogs, that makes sense. This lets the association you build with your host blogger to be joint.

Some bloggers will even blog about your guest post and link to it from their blog (giving you some great link juice). For myself, I’m a fan of this repetition.

The first rule of existence a good guest

When I guest post for somebody else, I do the next:

  • Link to the pole from my blog
  • Promote it on Twitter (several times)
  • Thank the person
  • Stick about and respond to comments on the pole.

While not everybody does this, it’s not a bad impression. However, this is significant: if you have to select between hire people guest post on your site or guest posting away, do the latter. It’s always better to get your name out into new groups.

Guest posting matters

Rendering to my acquaintance, Mike the Search Train Guru, when it comes to SEO, guest posting on additional sites is five times more valuable than making new content on your individual site. (As long as you become a backlink)

Whether or not this is severely true, I don’t upkeep. (However, Mike’s not the incorrect kind of guy, so it’s perhaps.) The point is, it’s a great plan for increasing your reach and building your standing online.

Also, if you’re a writer observing for more “old-style” publishing chances, this is a great first step to getting your writing contained in news sites, fortnightlies, and other books.

If you aren’t content with your blog traffic but aren’t posting on other grassroots blogs, you don’t have much to protest about. Start guest posting nowadays, and see your result grow.
