How to use Reaper 2 Script?
In this tutorial, I will show you how to use Reaper 2 Script. Reaper 2 Script is a powerful new script creation and editing tool released with Reaper 1.12. It’s a great way to create and edit scripted audio/audio effects, automation, and instruments in your DAW of choice.
Reaper 2 Script is divided into two main sections: the “Script” window and the “Mixer” window. The Script window contains all of your script code. You can type or paste in code snippets or entire scripts. The Mixer window contains all of your audio input and output channels, as well as any associated mixers (e.g., EQs, compressors, etc.). Each channel can have its own settings (e.g., panning, levels), which you can adjust using the controls in the Mixer window.
To create a new script in Reaper Script, click on the “Script” button located in the top left corner of the Editor window (see screenshot below). This will open the “Script” window (see screenshot below). To begin creating your script, type or paste in a few basic lines of code (see screenshot below). As you write your code, you’ll notice that some tabs at the top of the Editor window are automatically populated with helpful information about your script (such as its name and author).
