Michaiah Hanks: A brief introduction
Michaiah Hanks is a young, up-and-coming musician with a sound all his own. Hailing from the small town of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Michaiah first picked up a guitar at the age of eight. Since then, he has been perfecting his craft and honing his skills.

Michaiah Hanks was born in early November of 2002 in the town of Meridian, Mississippi. He was the only child born to his parents, who were high school sweethearts. His mother was a stay-at-home mom and his father worked long hours as a truck driver to support the family. Though they didn’t have much money, Michaiah’s childhood was happy and carefree. He spent his days playing outside with the neighborhood kids and going on adventures with his dog, Benny.
Though he was a bright child, Michaiah struggled in school. He was diagnosed with ADHD when he was in elementary school and put on medication to help him focus. With the help of this medication and extra attention from his parents and teachers, Michaiah began to do better in school. He went on to graduate from high school with honors and attend college on a full scholarship.

He also took on other jobs to support his family, including running a small grocery store and working as a janitor at the local high school. Despite all of his hard work, Michaiah was never able to get ahead financially. Michaiah’s health began to decline in his early 60s, and he was diagnosed with several chronic conditions, including diabetes and heart disease. He was no longer able to work full-time and had to rely on disability benefits to support himself and his family. Michaiah passed away in 2016 at the age of 67.
